Jesus came to earth to deliver the Gospel or Good News and through his love and example to win over our hearts to complete obeidence and servanthood. 

He would have never been associated or influenced by the ways of our world, but came to proclaim our personal devotion to himself as his disciple as a devoted servant motivated by his love.  He also came to teach the Truth.  His agenda was God's, not man's, as his supernatural message often proved to be in direct opposed to man's. 

Today, God's truth and references to Jesus are seldom mentioned by polititians because they fear alienating voters. 

Don't you find it amazing how much time and money people dedicate to their favorite politican in order to affect change on government to help those in need? 

Wouldn't it be great if we used them and let God our leader, Lord Savior guide us through his Biblical principles to go out and serve others with our most valuable commodity, ourselves, and also our money come to the aid of others?  Think how much both the giver and receiver would benefit, especially if that loving attention was also supplemented by also giving our testimony and God's love to those in need?
